Library of Jashbhai Maganbhai Patel College of Commerce is situated at first floor of the main building.

Library Physical Facilities:

The Library has seating capacity of 100 students withgood ventilation and lighting arrangements. It has separate circulation desk. Library is having six computers with LAN and Internet connectivity.

Library Facilities /Services:

Library provides following facilities for the students.

  • Books Circulation: Books will be issued for a period of 7days. Renewal is allowed only when there is no demand for the same books by others. During examination, it will be decided by the Librarian. Circulation is automated and books will be issued through barcoded library card.
  • LibraryResources: Students can use any number of books, periodicals and non-books materials within the library.
  • Book Bank Facility: This facility is available for students of Economically and Socially Backward category. (Application forms will be available in the month of July-August )
  • Movie Club Collection: Students can issue and use the CD/DVDs of movies in the campus only from the library.
  • 'Earn and Learn Scheme' (Throughout the year) For detail contact the Librarian. This scheme is available to all bonafide students.
  • Bookssuggestion: Student can suggest the books to be purchased for the library. They can suggest the book/s by writing the detail of the books in 'BOOK SUGGESTION REGISTER' kept at circulation counter, at the Library.
  • Books/s Demand: Students can demand book/s from the library which is/are in circulation through 'BOOK DEMAND REGISTER' kept at circulation counter.
    Once the book is received it will be reserved for the students on first demand first served bases. Book demanded must be collected on the day as notified; else the book will be issued to the next student.
  • SuggestionBox: Written suggestions/genuine complaints may be dropped in the box kept in the Library.
  • Library also award the students as 'Best Library User of the Year'. The selection is based on student's attendance in library, use of library resources, sincerity and obedience towards library system.
  • 'Lucky Draw' Books worth Rs.1500/- will be awarded to the winner who suggested book/s to be purchased for library during Annual Book Fair.
